Who we are?
Oscar’s Favourites is a freeze-dried dog snack brand created by two expats in Luxembourg, inspired by a very spoiled pup named Oscar — a mixed-breed Pinscher with a Doberman appetite.
What started as a personal journey to feed our dog better quickly turned into a passion project… and hopefully a brand.

Oscar's Dad
I'm Diego, a reformed ex-corp marketing guy with a neurodiverse brain. My dog, Oscar, feels to me like the grandson my mom always asked for.
I want him to live a long, healthy life. But between work and life, I didn’t always have time to prep his meals — and when I did, I’d often forget to thaw the meat on time. So, I stuck with kibble. It was quick, clean, always there. But every time I read the label, I felt a pang of guilt. I knew he deserved better.
How we adopt the idea!
One day, Jack came into our lives — a neurotypical Dutch guy with a soft spot for Oscar. He spoiled him rotten, of course. But on a dog walk, he noticed the change after switching Oscar from kibble to raw: more energy, a slimmer body, and way easier (less smelly) pick-ups — if you know what we mean. That’s when the value of raw feeding really clicked.
A Trip, A Shelf, A Spark
That summer, we traveled to the U.S., and naturally, I stopped at a pet store to grab something for Oscar. We saw an entire section filled with freeze-dried raw snacks. I pointed and said, “This is what I’ve been telling you about!” Jack raised an eyebrow — intrigued.
Back home, we decided to try it ourselves. We got a small freeze-dryer, turned our spare space into a mini lab, and Jack — being Jack — dove in, hands-on.
No more mess. No more stress. Oscar loved it. We loved it.
We shared a few bags with friends.
Their dogs went crazy.
And that’s when we looked at each other and said, “What if…”
And voilà — Oscar’s Favourites was born.
